Customer responsibility
You are the exporter and are legally responsible for the accuracy of the customs declaration. Under-declaration is illegal and delays clearance.
DDP vs. non-DDP
On eligible all-inclusive DDP services, we pre-clear customs and cover duties/taxes in your total. On non-DDP services (Economy line), any Indian duties and taxes are billed to the recipient in India on delivery.
Storage & inspection
Indian customs may hold shipments for inspection. Storage fees, if levied, are payable to the destination hub.
Restricted goods decisions
Final decisions on entry of goods are at the sole discretion of Indian customs.
